7. Special Notes for Patients

As a psychotherapist, I am subject to professional secrecy under Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB). All data collected in the course of treatment is treated strictly confidentially and is subject to special professional regulations.

Patient data is retained in accordance with the statutory retention periods (usually 10 years after the completion of treatment) and is then destroyed in a data-protection-compliant manner.
